You will not be in heaven two seconds before you cry out,why did I place so much importance on things that were so temporary? What was I thinking? Why did I waste so much time,energy and concern on what wasn’t going to last?

Matthew 6:19 tells us, “Stop storing up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal. Rather, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…”

  38. Humans are not made to live in heaven. Remember that Adam and Eve were perfect before they sinned and yet God put them in the Garden of Eden. God’s prophecy for man to multiply and fill the earth must be achieved. Only spirit beings like the Angels and God himself can live in heaven. Psalm 37:9, 10 & 11 says ….. For evil men will be done away with,+ But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more;+ You will look at where they were, And they will not be there.+ But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

      1. I agree with you Whitney. We have no hope if there is no hope of Heaven – even Jesus said that. Plus, we love to give our kids lovely things even when they don’t deserve them and if we don’t believe God wants to bless us in this way, then we are exalting our ‘goodness’ above God’s aren’t we? I know I shall meet you there one day 🙂
