You Make Me Better……

Yeah, I know, words don’t always come out right,
I’ve tried…
But they don’t come easy to me.
Every time I try, I say the wrong words
But I will try…

I want to hold you in my arms,
Close enough to make you feel what you do to my heart,
I’m not supposed to want you…They tell me!
Am not supposed to care,
And yet, I spend my time dreaming.

Am not supposed to imagine
Where you are or what you are doing,
Am not supposed to think about you,
But no matter how hard I fight it
Thoughts of you sneak in,

I want to take your hand,
And walk you through my dreams.
To show you, to prove to you that
You are all I need….And
You make me better all the time.

    1. Yes we all can never be one dot. Just as our faces differ, so does our needs and wants. I went through yours and it’s quite the opposite, I love how you chose to find and love yourself before needing anyone. Different strokes for different folks.
