Many times I find myself quoting this scripture “The joy of the Lord is my strength”, ” This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” The truth is it’s not easy to quote these words from the heart and stay positive when everything around you seems to be crumbling. When you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Staying positive at this time then requires extra effort and the knowledge you have about the situation or challenge you are passing through and what God has to say about it.
Quoting these words from my heart constantly from my heart and making them personal is one of the ways I develop a positive mindset on a daily basis.
I don’t think or want to be believe that there are people who are so negative and can’t be redeemed or changed. There a product of what they hear and face constantly. If a child grows up hearing he or she is a failure or a nobody, that child will never see him or herself as anything good. He will never feel like he belongs nor fits into the society he finds himself.
Growing up, my parents gave us the best of what they had that time but because of the environment they found themselves and lack of knowledge and exposure, they made us suspicious of everyone. They kept telling us not to mingle with people, that people were only good for betrayal and hurts. They made us loose trust in people. It affected me because I became so reserved. You can’t see me mingling with children my age, all I found pleasure doing was reading, writing and being by myself. Thankfully, by getting to know God while getting older, I came to realise that you are what God says you are and not what people say you are or want you to believe you are.
I can boldly approach life positively.
Every scar on me is a reminder of God’s faithfulness, of how negativity can affect me and of where I used to be. It’s a reminder that I don’t belong there anymore and that I can be better and different if I want to or choose to.
Proverbs 23:7 ” For as a man thinks in his heart, so he is”.
What goes on in our minds directly affects what happens in our lives.
Whether it’s school projects, the completion of a big project, a closer walk with God, I encourage you to focus positively on it and see yourself achieving great results. This is applicable in our daily lives as well. If we think positive thoughts towards life, we will pursue and enjoy happy, fulfilled and contented lives.
Positive attitude is a philosopher stone in our lives. When the rainy days are our badge you must be remembering all days the sun is arise but you can’t see it.
Positivism is a great science when hardest times around us and I can say it an easy lesson when you’re naming the word very different to facing positivism day to day

So many my dear. My life alone is the biggest testimony of God’s faithfulness. Getting this far despite all odds is enough to know that all I need is God. Only him could have brought me this far, he is the reason am anything now. My being alive today drew me closer to the Lord, and am not going back.

https://polldaddy.com/js/rating/rating.jsWhat a great post! Even through tragedy and heartache, we are not alone. God promises His children to always be there. Sometimes though, it seems He is universes away … those are the times we need to focus on our faith and optimism to remind us that He is there.

Yes He is. Deuteronomy 31:6 is a perfect reminder of His promises to us. He never forgets His own.
