It’s All Good!

One way to stay peaceful, content, and unruffled is to know how to cast your care on the Lord and be be at peace with his decisions for you. Yea! I know sometimes things can get really crazy and rationality becomes questionable but responding to every challenges by your own wisdom is even crazier.

I used to think I was a happy lady until I met my man. He is a happy man by all standard, consistently joyful, peaceful and full of life much more than I can ever be. He rarely gets angry, agitated nor frustrated and I love that about him. Most of the time I do all the worrying for all of us, I defend myself each time he asks why I’m worrying too much by saying “It’s my maternal instincts at work” Lol

He has a way of making a sad day look so bright and colorful with his cheerful nature. Oftentimes, I wonder if God created him on Sunday and I on Monday (I believe those created on Mondays are very worrisome in nature and those created on Sundays are cheerful, carefree and easy going #myopinion ). Whenever I ask him why he doesn’t allow anything weigh him down he would say “It’s all good my love, when you’ve got Jesus”. He believes God will make it work out for the best if we pray and God hasn’t failed us yet.

Romans 8:28 assures us that all things are working out for our good especially for those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Certain things may not always feel good or even appear to be good but God has a way of making it turn to be good for us and to us. God is a good God but I can’t promise you that situation or circumstances will always be pleasant. Challenges are part of life, if Jesus could meet them, then who are we?

Are you at the crossroads and don’t know if what’s happening to is for your own good and if God is involved? Please say these words after me: I believe this will work out for my good, I don’t like the way I feel now, I feel as though you are not with me, I do not understand anything but I know you do. Dear God I know you love me and I know your will for my life is good; therefore I believe all things will work out for my good in Jesus name Amen.

No matter what we encounter, God wants us to stay positive and joyful because his joy is our strength. A good hearty laugh makes any day; so start laughing today and know “It’s all good”.

  1. If he’s so good, why is the world getting worse? Why is it God’s will to punish and kill people?
It’s because our construct of him is flawed. He is not the vicious asshole of the brutal old testament. Rather, he is that good energy emanating from our souls. He is us. We are him if we follow a virtuous path. That’s the problem with organised religion.

    1. Thanks Grandmaster T for dropping by. The truth is, I don’t have the answer to many things but I do know this; God does punish people when they fail to turn from their evil ways but he’s definitely not a killer. He made a promise after the flood through the sign of the rainbow never to destroy mankind again. He is a God of law and justice. He believes in whatsoever a man sows, he reaps. Mankind is the enemy of himself and the architect of all his problems. The world is getting worse because the heart of man is desperately wicked and of course we are at the end of time. Just like you rightly pointed out, God is us. We are all a reflection of who he is but we have failed to see this. Our hearts are so cold and stony. We keep leaving him out of the picture and that’s why the world is where it is today. Until we see ourselves as one and a replica of God, the world will never be a better place.
Thank you very much for sharing with us.

    1. Hi dear. I am very sorry for your loss. I am pretty sure he is smiling down at you from the Lord’s bossom. Weeping does endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Stay blessed and thank you very much for sharing.
