Yesterday I got nominated by Piyali – solitarysoulwithachaoticmind.wordpress.com for the 3days quotes and tag. I want to say a big thank you to you Piyali you’re very kind. I recommend you check out her blog, her posts are revealing and refreshing. You can easily relate to each one of them.

Today my first day quote is the quote- “Pain is just a stepping stone in life, not a reason to step back.” this quote is very similar to the one by Tony Jaa-“Never be afraid to fail. Failure is only a stepping stone to improvement. Never be overconfident because that will block your improvement.”

One of the reasons why I love the quote”Pain is just a stepping stone….. “is its challenging nature. It’s never easy to be rational and brave when you are in pain. At that point in time, all the signal your brain is sending you is the pain you’re feeling. Nothing at the moment would make sense but only the bravest of us all will be able to look past what they are feeling and figure out a solution.

Everyone hurts but not everyone keeps hurting. I’ve come to the understanding that pain is also in the mind and not in the way we think.

  4. Hey Whitney, this is cool. I’ve never seen anyone do this post before and I like the quote you chose for today. There’s so much truth in this. I know from my recent experience with hurt and pain that it really does not last forever.

    Though you do need courage and strength to continue to move forward when you’re going through trials, once you realize what you have gained from it, you feel a lot more at peace!

      Indeed no pain last forever although it’s not always easy to let go of them.
