Good morning everyone,
Today, my second day quote for the “3 days quotes, 3 tags challenge” would be “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game”. The first place I saw this quote was in the romantic commedy movie by Chad Michael Murray and Hillary Duff tittled “A Cinderella Story” and in 2005, since then it got stuck with me.
I love this quote because it’s so relatable no matter the angle or perspective you look at it from. Many of us gets shut down in fear of being rejected, scorned, mocked, laughed at and even being humiliated when we want to take the next giant step that will change our lives. We are more consumed with the thoughts of what the world will say, even when we know their opinions don’t really matter and frankly speaking, they don’t really care about us. A wise man once said “Words don’t have the power to affect us unless the person saying them means something to us”.
There are two good things in life – freedom of thought and freedom of action. We can be anything we think of and dream of.

It’s great to read sentences like “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” Thank you for this encouraging reminder for any/all of us to dream big. The only thing i might add is that our dreams and goals need to be respectful of others and need to contribute to a sustainable future for the entire web of life on this planet…

I agree with you Will. You don’t need to silence the voice of other people just so your own voice can be heard.
Thanks for sharing with us.
