Life In The Spirit

Those who live as the Spirit tells them to, have their minds controlled by what the Spirit wants. And, those who obey their human nature cannot please God. To be controlled by human nature results in death; to be controlled by the Spirit results in life and peace. Today, we’ve made ourselves enemies of God because we’ve allowed ourselves to be controlled by our human nature.
There’s no life outside the Spirit.

So then, my friends, we have an obligation, not to live as our human nature wants us to. But to live as the Spirit directs. For everytime we choose to obey the flesh, the consequences are disastrous and death. The Spirit helps us to live above sin and for everyone led by the spirit of God, are the sons of God. We are no longer slave to sin, flesh, or any form of human nature.

There’s no condemnation whatsoever for those who live in the Spirit. The Spirit of God has set us free from every law of sin and death. The Spirit helps us when we are weak, teaches us how to pray, directs us when we are confused. He does a lot more than we can ever imagine.
We are God’s children and we will share and possess his blessings, but we must learn to live in the Spirit.
