Some Thing’s Don’t Change!

Some things you don’t change, swap, or update. Especially in an age when computer processors make major leaps every few months and software companies release new upgrades every year. We get programmed into looking for the new and improved version of everything, new ways of doing things, new ways of living, new diets.

No matter how we try we can’t change or swap the universe. We can’t fight sleep or nature when it comes calling. We can’t consume excess fat without working out and expect to remain fit, take the shortcut to everything and expect to be good or exceptional.

We can’t give hate and expect love, bear a grudge and expect to be forgiven, judge another and expect to be free. It’s almost impossible for positive inspiration to breath and survive in a complicated mind. Until you take out the trash, the foul smell won’t go away.

In all these, the simple but profound truth is that Christ is Lord. No update needed. No rival worthy. No change necessary. In fact, if we stray from this as the basis of our life, we put all we hold dear at risk.

But if we continue, if we grow, if we root ourselves in this truth and make it the undergirding reality of our lives, then our future is secure and our victory assured!

Whatever you need to change, be convinced about it; otherwise, let it be! -Whitney be

Good morning and have a great weekend.
