It’s Time To Take A Chance..

If the shell doesn’t fit anymore then its because it’s time to move on, its time to take a chance and find another that has been designed to fit you even perfectly.

Is what worked in the past not working for you now? Maybe you’ve outgrown your job, or a relationship you need time to reexamine or a method that has become outdated and needs to be changed.

Regardless of what it may be don’t become so settled that you fret over letting go and moving on when you need to.

The story of the hermit told by a wise man says the hermit crab looks for a shell that fits him and lives there until he outgrows it. At that point, he has to scurry along the ocean floor and find a bigger one. A process that repeats itself throughout his lifespan.

We can learn a thing or two from the hermit crab. You don’t need to settle in a place or thing that you’ve outgrown. You’d only be smuggling yourself.

So, here’s my question: Are you clinging to something that no longer fits you just because it’s easy, convenient, and familiar? Are you settling for the confusion and noise inside for fear of the peace outside?

You must be willing to move out of your comfort zone and deal with a little distress. That’s what makes you grow. Patience and persistence are admirable qualities, but they don’t work in situations you’ve put grown.

Instead of hanging in and trying harder at a certain point to make something that isn’t working to work. Instead of stretching yourself thin and losing yourself in the process. Stop and ask yourself “is this situation good for me?”, ” do I really need to be here?”

If you’re not sure, ask God for an understanding heart, ability to hear what he’s saying, and what he wants you to do next. You’ve got to know the difference between right and wrong.

You’ve got every right to be happy and be at peace with yourself and everyone around you. Take a chance today.

Blessings and Love
