Morning Inspiration…( God Hates A Coward)

God hates a coward. Look at your spiritual forefathers in the faith: Moses with the shepherd staff engaged the royal court of Pharaoh. (Pharaoh who is considered the god of the earth, then, with the mightiest army) assembled his people together, and looked Pharaoh in the eyes and said, “Let my people go”. He was courageous and fearless.

Look at Jesus Christ, he was in the garden of Gethsemane, he’s praying, five hundred Roman soldiers come from the Roman fortress to arrest him. Think about that, five hundred battle-ready Roman soldiers against one Jewish rabbi praying with twelve sleeping disciples. They said we seek Jesus of Nazareth. He said, “I am He” and they fell on the ground like dead leaves. He wasn’t afraid either.

Jesus Christ lost his life, but he didn’t lose the fight. God will give you only what you’re willing to fight for. Satan attacks you because you’re the child of God and he hates God’s property. He attacks you because you’re the light of this world and he is the prince of darkness. He attacks you because you’re the soldier of the cross, you’re anointed, you have the word of God and you are covered with the blood of Christ.

Y’all can take the sword of the truth of God and attack the gates of hell. You’re a threat to the enemy, whenever you lay over your bed every attacker of your life gets a migraine headache. And for those of you, who mentions the name of Christ, stop allowing the enemy and his demonic goons to destroy your home, marriage, relationships. Put on the whole armour of God and fight back. Stop allowing him to attack your health, for the Bible says, by his stripes, we are healed. Quit allowing him to attack your finances, for the word of God says, he will rebuke the devourer for your sake. God also promises to give back to you sevenfold.

Quit allowing the Devil to rob you of your peace because Christ is the prince of peace. He shouldn’t rob you of your joy either, for in the presence of God is the fullness of Joy. Do you want it? Then fight for it. Do you own it? Then fight to keep it. Put on the whole armour of God, take the word of the wholeness of the father and fight the good fight of faith. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

We who believe in God and in his word have so taken from Him his major. And, we have also forgotten who he is. He is the son of God who looked at his crowd one day and said.” You’re of your father, the devil”. Today, we don’t openly rebuke evil for fear of being left out or called Jesus freak. The fact is, God is willing to give you what you’re willing to fight for. In this war raging on earth and within us, you will either demonstrate courage or cowardice.

Some of you are courageous soldiers of the cross, while some are cowards to the core and don’t deserve the name of Christ. Now, here’s what I expect you to do, as a father, you must look out for your enemies, (and believe me you’re going to have some) and stand guard. Whatever threatens you, threatens your home, you must threaten it back. Whatever pushes against you, you must push it back. Whatever overwhelms you, stand up, take control, and fight your enemy wherever you find him.

Be strong in the Lord and fight the good fight of faith for victory is ours through Christ our Lord. We can never exhaust God’s resources. If he is asking us to stand up and fight, it’s because he has equipped us with the strength we can never imagine. He never gives us a vision without giving us provisions. God can do exceedingly, and abundantly above all that you can ask or think of. You can see his mighty power, but when he gets through, he’s never exhausted. He’s got much more strength ready to give you for every day. He can defeat any giant that’s before you. He can produce streams of living water in the deserts. He can send tongues of fire in the upper room, cause manna to fall from the sky. He can walk on water and save you from the things that want to destroy you. When you go weary, you can bet he’s inside you.

He can make you run like Elijah forty miles before the chariots. When you grow faint, he can send you power that you can begin to tap from. You just can’t exhaust God’s power or resources. Our God is an awesome God. He is full of greatness, power, and truth. He is the Almighty God, the conqueror of death, grave, sicknesses and disease. He is the conqueror of all powers and principalities. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the creator of the universe. And he is coming soon with all his glory and power.

We must deal with the enemy within ourselves. Yes, we’ve got enemies on the outside, but some of the enemies are not way off in some distant country. Many of them are way closer than that. They are within and I want to give you a list of things to watch out for when you finish reading this post.

We must deal with the enemy within ourselves. Yes, we’ve got enemies on the outside, but some of the enemies are not way off in some distant country. Many of them are way closer than that. They are within and I want to give you a list of things to watch out for when you finish reading this post.

  1. Indifference: Whatever you do practice not being casual. You’ve got to shake off sometimes the liturgy of “Oh, well, maybe it’s not going to work out for me, but I’ll just go ahead and see what happens. Casualness creates casualties. Go out every day with renewed intensities. Don’t let indifference take over.2
  2. Indecision: I have done a post on the dangers of indecisions and the fact that we’ve got to deal with it. Indecision is called the “thieve of opportunity”. Do the very best that you can, make the decision, and then go with it. If it doesn’t work out because it was the wrong decision, I tell you this, you have learned from your experience and in a better position to make a better decision.3.
  3. Doubt: We’ve all got to deal with the enemy of doubt. Cynicism has a unique way of crowding in on all of us. Being cynical about the government, cynical about banks and money, cynical about the society, the past and the future. Do not allow the disease of doubt grab you by the throat and ruin your chances of doing well. Yes, it’s easy to doubt. We’ve all got fears that want to crowd in. And, I say to you that if it can happen to me, it can happen to anybody else. Quit doubting your strength and your ability. Next is…
  4. Worry: Here is the clue; don’t let it conquer you. Take all of the worries you’ve got and drive them into the smallest corner you can possibly find. If you don’t, worry will be like a wild dog let loose in the house. So, whatever you do, drive them all into a corner, otherwise, it will drive you into a corner.5.
  5. Over-Caution: In the spring, if you are too cautious, you’ll never plant. If you’re too cautious, you’ll never take the first step. If you’re too cautious, you’ll never step out front. If you’re too cautious, you probably would never have achieved anything by now. You’ve got to take a chance. Drive your tendencies to be too cautious into a corner. Yes, you can be gullible. No, you can’t do everything. Yes, you’ve got to be careful. Yes, but don’t be so cautious that it paralyses you. Don’t be so cautious that it restricts your chances to do better or be better. See if you can conquer that.56
  6.  Pessimism: Yes, there is the dark side. Yes, there is the problem side. Yes, there is the difficult side. But, I’m telling you, it’s not the only side. Yes, the glass is half empty, but it’s also half full. Yes, there is the dark side, but there is also the light side. Yes, the night comes, so does the day. Don’t be afraid of both sides. Opportunity and difficulty. Chance and danger.

Learn how to handle it all.

Blessings and Love

  1. Cowards won’t get to heaven, Revelation explains that. But God is gracious with cowardly people, and can make them brave. Look at all Moses’ excuses not to lead His people. See how Elijah ran for his life from Jezabel having defeated the prophets of Baal. There are plenty of other examples. But God can turn the naturally cowardly into supernaturally brave.

    1. Yes, he can. But first, he/ she must be willing to fight for bravery at some point. There are no hand me down with God. He only gives you what he knows you can handle.

Thank you so much for this lovely insights. Glad you read through. God bless you.

      1. Thankfully there are hand me downs with God. Every good thing is a gift from Him, even our faith, and the works we do are prepared beforehand by Him for us to do.

        1. Smiles…Yes, Robert, you’re right but that’s not the angle I was coming from. He loved us ever before we were born.

The steadfast love of our God never ceases and his mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning and great is his faithfulness to us all.

Thank you for sharing. More grace.😇
