Our Words…. Very Powerful!!

Our words are powerful, they not only reveal the conditions of our hearts, they also influence our ability to enjoy life and fully live.

Just as a positive mental attitude helps us enjoy our lives, the words we speak also affect the levels of joy we experience on a daily basis. “Matthew 12:34- Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” When we are filled with joy, optimism and peace, we will speak words reflecting those attitudes. If we listen to what we say, we will be able to stay in touch with what is going on in our hearts.

Our words are very powerful, they can either make us or mar us. Build us or destroy us. Draw us close to people or separate us from people. They not only reveal the conditions of our hearts, they also influence our ability to live and enjoy life the way God expects us to. “Proverbs 18:20-21 (KJV)  A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

If we speak negatively, we will have negative experiences and results all the time. But , if we speak positively, we will see good, positive things happen in our lives. If all we do is talk about our problems, then we keep magnifying the problems and make them more difficult to deal with, this leaves us depressed, sad, and discouraged. But if we talk about solutions and keep saying positive words, we discover that the solution to every problem are always around us. They are never far away. We continually feel strong and confident all the time, able to walk through any difficult situation. Why are these principles true? Because we eat the fruit of our words, we can see that in Proverbs 18:21.

Do you know that we can poison our own joy by the thoughts we think and the words we speak?

Not only can we bring ourselves joy with the words we speak, we can build strong relationships with our friends and family and society at large.

Have you ever had someone say the right words to you just at the right time? If Yes, then you would understand what it means to speak positively to other people. You will understand how much it will affect their lives and whatever negative perspective they may have at that time. We need to speak positively, talk about things that make us happy, use our words to encourage others and not to destroy them.

Don’t make people run away from you!!!

Encourage others, refuse to speak negatively about things, people or circumstances. Call forth those things that be not as though they were.
Remember, we real what we sow, the more joy we give to others through the words we speak, the more joy we experience personally..

A strong positive mental attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug…..
