Morning Reflections…

Hello everyone!

We need to understand that the generations are connected. You are sowing seeds for future generations. Whether you realize it or not, everything you do counts. Every time you persevere, every time you are faithful, every time you serve others, you are making a difference; you are storing up equity in your “generational account”.

It’s easy in life to think, ” Well, I’m just a businessman”, or “I’m just a housewife”, or ” I’m just a single mom raising my kids, going to work. I’m not going to do anything great. Be realistic”.

No, you’ve got to learn to think more generationally. The fact that you’re a hard worker, faithful to your spouse and family, giving it your all, you are sowing seeds for those to come after you.

You may not see it happen in your lifetime. You may very well be slowing a seed for a child or for a grandchild to do something great. But don’t be discouraged. It’s your family legacy. It’s not just your life you are changing; you are literally changing your family tree.

Nobody said it would be easy, but keep being faithful. You don’t know how God may use that child to impact the world. Somebody in your line may become the next great businessman, leader, teacher, minister, statesman, or author.

It may be in this generation or it may be four or five generations down the line. But it will happen partly because you were willing to pay the price!

Good morning. Have a beautiful weekend.

Blessings and Love

  1. Thanks for the reminder. Going back to my dad (and mum), they home educated me, so they invested a lot in me. I’m not sure they’ve seen much fruit in me, but now I have a daughter I’d like to home educate her (just have to persuade the wife!). I don’t think home education’s for everyone, but it takes a whole lot of sowing, and will hopefully reap a great harvest down the line!

    Thanks for the post 🙂

  2. Nothing more true what you say. For me a lived example are the children we have raised. Our legacy is manifested in that they are good husbands and with human quality. that was what we sowed and thank God that the seed gave good fruits. A very wise reflection to open your eyes. A good weekend.
